Resistance Against Cypermethrin and Neem Product. P2; 44

Some farmers apply ground neem paste to the inside of the earthen containers for grain storage. Other apply neem cake to the soil to protect the eggplant from borers and tomatoes from nematodes and leaf spot disease. Natural products in recent years, it has been proved that most of the synthetic conventional pesticides, particularly OC and O P groups are harmful and insects develop resistance against them. In this connection neem fractions may provide a cool breath, less persistent and least toxic to domestic animals and other non-target fauna and flora. Many workers studied and reported the results in various International Conferences.
Effect of RE-a, RE-b (Neem fractions) and Cypermethrin was observed on the activity of enzymes (GOT, GPT, LDH and Cholinesterase) colorimetrically, against the late 3rd instar larvae of Aedes aegypti PCSIR strain, Organgi Town and Gulshan-e-Iqbal stations, for determining resistance.
RE-a and RB-b distrubed the process of melanization. RB-a and RB-b (Crude ethanolic of berries) is moderately toxic substance that shows the toxic effects and mortality at high concentrations,and affects physiologically rather than toxicity. This will save us from environmental pollution.
