The importance of education in the formation of a child's personality up to adulthood concerning his environment is importantto the San people in the Sourou Valley.

In the Sourou Valley in Burkina Faso, on-going informal education is based on oral tradition, the support of elementary documentation wich comes from the fables, songs, legends, sayings, unvarying daily gestures, etc. Tradition is the basec cement of education and professional training of young people among the San People of the Sourou Valley.
